Welcome to Greenmeadow Badminton Club. We’re a friendly club for adult players (anyone over 18 years old as we do not have a junior section).
We encourage good sportsmanship and aim to improve members’ badminton skills as well as keeping fit. Badminton is a great game and is great fun as well. It can be the fastest racket sport in the world, but be rest assured we play at a slower pace than that!
We play club nights on Tuesday (7–10pm) and Friday (7–10pm) at the Haydon Centre in Swindon all year, except for Easter and Christmas when the centre is closed. You’ll get plenty of games with doubles on two courts, sometimes three courts. We book extra courts to accommodate extra play if required.

The Haydon Centre is a fully equipped sports centre and has the usual facilities you’d expect – a hall with four courts, clean showers and refreshments etc.
We’re also competitive and compete in the Swindon & District Badminton Association leagues. We have various teams taking part.
Advance knowledge of your visit IS required before you attend as this allows us to see if we can accommodate you should a home league match be taking place that evening or not.
